CircSoft, Inc. began in June 1999 with a dream and a commitment; a dream to provide newspaper circulation departments with integrated technology solutions, across all standard platforms and a commitment to exceptional customer service.  We deliver WHAT we promise – WHEN we promise.  The business plan is simple, and the concept is extraordinary.   CircSoft is providing support and project services to a growing cadre of newspaper clients.  CircSoft clients include operating units of world class newspaper companies including: Cox Newspapers, Inc., Freedom Communications, Inc., Tribune Co., Lee Enterprises and others.   We currently support operating environments including:   SUN/Solaris, ORACLE HP/UX, ORACLE IBM/MVS, VSAM and DB2 IBM/VSE, VSAM   Tools supported include: ORACLE, Cobol, VB, C++, SQL, DB2 and VSAM.    CircSoft also provides a full line of technical services, training, and consulting services, including project management.    CircSoft’s principals, James Bertolino and Courtney Wright, provide more than forty years newspaper circulation systems experience.  Both delivered newspapers as youths and after college, developed circulation systems at the largest metropolitan newspaper in their home state of Texas.  Together they provided the primary architectural design and development of an integrated online circulation system, which was the best of its time.    In fact the system was so good, the rights to it were purchased by the largest vendor of application software to major metropolitan newspapers in the world.  Wright and Bertolino were both recruited by that firm as Director of Circulation Systems and Circulation Systems Development Manager respectively.
